ORGAN INFORMATION

For many years, this church housed the historic Pilcher organ which was originally built for the second Ursuline Convent at the Industrial Canal site in New Orleans. That chapel was demolished when the Industrial Canal was built, and the organ was then sent to this church. The organ was discarded in the late 1990's and it was salvaged and restored by Redman Organ Company of Ft. Worth. It was then installed (2000) in the chapel of the original Ursuline Convent in the French Quarter, which had later become St. Mary's Italian Church.

This church is now utilizing an electronic organ which can be seen in the choir loft photo above.
