Berean Presbyterian Congregation dates to the early
1900's. The church has served the African-American community since its
founding. Many members are drawn from the ranks of local professionals,
and the church has always enjoyed excellent support of its members.. The
ministry includes several educational programs. It presently boasts a
Head Start program and a popular Vacation Bible School. Rev. Moses Stith
is the pastor.
