Following Hurricane Katrina, St. Raphael The Archangel Parish was combined with St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Parish and St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. The original St. Raphael physical plant was repaired and rededicated as the new home of the three combined parishes. The original St. Raphael website remains available on NewOrleansChurches.com as a historical reference only. The NOC page for St. Francis Xavier Cabrini also remains available although the physical church has been demolished
